Making Waves with Dan Mackin: 29 Years of NKF Surf

This year marks Dan’s 29th year creating the official artwork for the National Kidney Foundation of Florida’s Annual Surf Contest, contributing to the over $10 million NKF surf contests and functions have raised—a testament to his artistry, consistency, and generosity in supporting a meaningful cause. Through his art donations, he has helped raise thousands of dollars for numerous charity organizations, including the National Kidney Foundation, the American Heart Association, the Save the Turtles Foundation, the National Parks Foundation, the Hibiscus House Children's Foundation, the National Audubon Society, and Habitat for Humanity.
Dan’s art celebrates life above and below the ocean’s surface, blending vibrant coastal imagery with a sense of peace and connection to nature. His pieces continue to inspire collectors, beach lovers, and environmental advocates alike.
